Molly Weasley mentions that Ogg was the gamekeeper, but it is thought that [[Rubeus Hagrid]] was his assistant at the time and was possibly the next gamekeeper. It is unknown what really happened, as when Molly attended Hogwarts, the time line dictates that Hagrid would have already been expelled a few decades before and presumably already have been allowed to stay on as gamekeeper himself.

Ogg was the gamekeeper at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry during Arthur Weasley and Molly Prewett's time at the school.

After Rubeus Hagrid was expelled in 1943, Albus Dumbledore convinced Armando Dippet to keep Hagrid and train him as gamekeeper.[1] Hagrid presumably served as Ogg's assistant before Ogg left the position and Hagrid was promoted.

In 1995, Molly became intrigued by the Whomping Willow when she visited Harry Potter during the third task, and she reminisced at length about Ogg.[2]
