Oldknowe Books was presumably a bookstore or book publisher in Diagon Alley. The word "UNQUIET" was painted on its building, with the establishment displaying a sign with the following: Ghosts, Spectres, Spirits, and Apparitions,[1] which were all words describing the same subject matter.
On its right were Shrew & Scold's Bridal Wear and Gaberlunzie Garments, left were Mr Trismus, Mouth Magician and Herbert's Sherbets.[2]

- Oldknowe Books may be a nod to the children's book series Green Knowe. It featured a magical manor Green Knowe, which housed various spirits, referred to as Oldknowe.[3]
