Ominis Gaunt's wand was of an unknown length, wood, and core material.
History[]
It was used in the late 19th century to guide and protect its owner around Hogwarts Castle, occasionally blinking red at the tip when used to navigate the world.[2] It was described by Sebastian Sallow to be "almost sentient".[1] It was also apparently capable of sentience in duels, as Ominis used it to battle Inferi in the catacombs of Feldcroft.[3]
