- "Do not Touch! Cursed. Has claimed the lives of nineteen Muggle owners to date."
- — The warning label for the necklace's display[src]
These victims were nineteen Muggles who were killed by the Opal Necklace, a Dark artefact that was cursed to kill whomever touched it.[2]
History[]
They all died at some point before the 1989–1990 school year,[1] certainly experiencing extreme torture and agony before their deaths, as was the nature of the curse placed upon the Opal Necklace.[3]
