This spell (incantation unknown) could transfigure an owl into a book.[1] It had a similar counter-spell, which would transform a book back into an owl (which was possibly the Avifors Spell).[2]
Known uses[]
Matilda Weasley used this spell during a fifth-year Transfiguration class at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, much to the surprise of her students.[1]
