- "Suit of armour generally possessed by a ghoul, ghost or spectre."
- — Folio Bruti[src]
The paladins were the foremost warriors of Emperor Charlemagne's court in around the 8th century. By extention, the term had been used to refer to any heroic champion or knightly defender of a noble cause.[1]
There were many paladin suits of armour at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry under spectral possession. They could be aggressive to passers-by, but were particularly vulnerable to the Incendio and Glacius spells.[2]
