Papyrus Reparo is the incantation of a charm that can be used to mend torn pieces of paper.[1] It is a variant of the Mending Charm.
History
This spell was used by Newt Scamander in 1927 to restore a torn postcard from Tina Goldstein addressed to Queenie Goldstein.[1] This informed Newt of Tina's whereabouts in Paris.
Etymology
Papyrus may refer to paper-like material made from the papyrus plant.[2] Reparo is the incantation of the Mending Charm, derived from the Latin verb "I restore, or repair".[3]
