This Wizard's Chess set was a chess set owned by Penny Haywood.[1]
History[]
This Wizard's Chess set was made before the 1985–1986 school year, as Penny brought it to school with her that year. During that year, she lent it out to Jacob's sibling so they could play chess against Professor McGonagall and interview her for the Teacher Appreciation Celebration taking place at Hogwarts.[1]
During the leadup to the Walter Aragon Wizard Chess Competition, Penny's chess set got damaged and she had to send it off for repairs, meaning that Jacob's sibling or Badeea Ali couldn't borrow it to participate in the tournament.[2]
