This wand belonged to Percival Graves, and was of unknown length, wood, and core materials. When Percival was impersonated by Gellert Grindelwald, he used the wand as part of the disguise.
Behind the scenes
- This wand appears in the film adaptation of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Its design was modelled on "an antique conductor's wand".[1]
- In the book The Case of Beasts: Explore the Film Wizardry of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, the entry for Graves' wand prop reads, "Graves' wand was fairly straightforward in the sense it was all ebony, but dividing the main tip and the handle was a silver band, again in a very simple deco style, and with a rear tip, almost like a walking stick."[2]
- On the information for the prop replica of Percival Graves' wand on the website Film Jackets, it lists the wand's length as "15 inches long".[3]
