Petra was a pure-blood witch who lived in the 20th and 21st centuries. She had a grandson named Kaliope, who changed his path from the Muggle music business to being a travelling street musician because of her story.

Biography

In her youth, Petra attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, where she was Sorted into an unknown House. She brought one of her family's memories to Hogwarts in order to fulfil her desire to view that memory, as she didn't have a Pensieve at home, but there was one in the Headmaster's office.

Later, a merperson named Hydriades saw her in a boat with the phial and singing. She threw the phial into the Great Lake on purpose because she was afraid her singing was not good enough to sing in public. When Hydriades tried to give her the phial back, she wouldn't take it. Years later, however, Petra told her grandson that a school rival stole it and threw it into the lake.
