Goliath, a Philistine
The Philistines were an ancient people who lived in the Middle East.[1] During Biblical times, they went to war against the Israelites, hiring a giant mercenary, Goliath, to fight for them.[2] Goliath was ultimately slain by a young boy armed only with a catapult.[2]
