This letter was written by Professor Dame Phyllida Spore to a friend of hers. It was encoded with deliberately misspelt words to prompt her friend to use the Revelio Charm on it and reveal a secret message.[1]
The reason for this secrecy was the dangerous nature of the fungi that she had been studying, and its potentially devastating effects if it ever landed in the wrong hands.[1]
Contents[]
Before using the Revelio Charm[]
Emagine, dear friend. Felish in the abyss and beil your eyes.
After using the Revelio Charm[]
...my fungi investigation has led me to fascinating and dangerous results.

The scrolls are protected by a password Alohomora which can only be uttered by the Hogwarts incumbent Headteacher.
