A Brief History of Time, a book on cosmological physics
Physics is a branch of natural science which delved into the intricate study of matter, exploring its fundamental constituents, motion, and behaviour across the dimensions of space and time.[1]
History[]
It was said in Advanced Potion-Making that "Potions, from antiquity until well into the Modern Age, a physics devoid of metaphysical insight would have been as unsatisfying as a metaphysics devoid of physical manifestation."[2]
Milo Farrell, an enchanter of broomsticks for Nimbus Racing Broom Company, favoured Muggle science, particularly physics.[3]
By at least the 2010s, a famous Muggle physicist wrote a tome regarding his scientific theories. During the Calamity, Myra Curio recommended that a Calamity Investigator working for the Statute of Secrecy Task Force read his scientific tome, which was apparently entirely false. However, the investigator found that applying the opposite of the physicist's theories could help them improve their spell casting.[4]
