Pike Street was the name given to the southern end of Allen Street in Manhattan, New York.[1]
In 1926, Pike Street was the venue for the weekly meetings of the New Salem Philanthropic Society, which were held on Tuesdays at 7:45pm, Wednesdays at 6:15pm, and Sundays from 1 to 6pm[2] at the Second Salem Church.
Behind the scenes[]
- Even though Pike Street being the address of the Second Salem Church is not mentioned in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them: The Original Screenplay and is only ever given on fleetingly-shown props, the film demonstrates remarkable continuity by correctly showing Manhattan Bridge in its correct position in relation to the street the church is shown to be in.
