This plot was a series of events that took place at and around Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry during the 1980s to assassinate Jacob's sibling and their friends.[1] The specific goals varied from time to time, some of which were killing one of Jacob's sibling's friends, killing Jacob's sibling themselves, and specifically, Merula Snyde.[5] Though Jacob's sibling's presence obstructed most attempts of assassination, the plot was not completely unsuccessful, as it resulted in Rowan Khanna's death.[4]
