Poisonous mushroom is a fleshy fungus that produces toxins that are harmful to humans. In 1991, Professor Pomona Sprout left her students a note by one of such patches that they should keep clear of them.[1] Patches of poisonous mushrooms could also be found growing in the Forbidden Forest.[2]
