Porcupine quills are the sharp spines that cover porcupines, defending them from predators. Porcupine quills are plentiful since the animals continually replenish them.
Uses in potions[]
Porcupine quills were an ingredient in several potions, either whole or powdered,[2] including the Cure for Boils[2] and Elixir to Induce Euphoria.[3] Quills that caused no harm were considered the best by potion-makers.[5]
The Porcupine Robe was a special type of robe made out of porcupine quills. It protected the wearer by hurting anyone who tried to physically attack them.[6]
