"As our investigations currently stand, the longest period that may be relived without the possibility of serious harm to the traveller or to time itself is around five hours."
—Professor Saul Croaker[src]
Professor Croaker’s law states that five hours is the longest someone can go back in time without a possibility of serious harm to the traveller or time itself.[1]This law was named for Professor Saul Croaker, a life-long Unspeakable who studied time-magic at the Department of Mysteries at the British Ministry of Magic.
