Punishment Principle[1] was a study ministered by the Auror Office to those who successfully completed the stringent series of character and aptitude tests required to qualify for becoming an Auror-in-training.
It was also part of the training offered to members of the Statute of Secrecy Task Force in the 2010s who sought to pursue a career as an Auror at a time when they were dealing with the consequences of the Calamity.
