Quidditch friendlies were informal Quidditch matches played at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in at least the 1980s. Unlike the formal matches in the Inter-House Quidditch Cup, which often had most of the school watching, Quidditch friendlies were only watched by dedicated Quidditch fans.[1]
History
In the 1980s, Jacob's sibling came to watch a Quidditch friendly with Penny Haywood. This was considered unusual, as Jacob's sibling had never watched even an official Quidditch match at the school before.[1]
