The Ravenclaw Medal of Excellence was a medal awarded by Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry to a student, Ravenclaw or otherwise, who had shown exemplary commitment to the ideals of Ravenclaw House.[1]
History[]
During the 1986–1987 school year, after Jacob's sibling had helped Professor and Head of Ravenclaw House Filius Flitwick prepare for and win the Toothill Duelling Club Invitational Tournament, Flitwick awarded Jacob's sibling the Ravenclaw Medal of Excellence so they would always remember how they had helped Ravenclaw House.[1]
