This event took place in the Great Hall at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry during the 1988–1989 school year as the first part of a series of mischief to cause ultimate chaos. Jacob's sibling, Jae Kim, Tulip Karasu and Nymphadora Tonks released the jinxed Ever-Bashing Boomerangs they had gotten from Mundungus Fletcher in the Hall to drive everyone outside to watch succeeding mischievous events.[1]
