Richard Horne, also known as El Horno,[2] is a graphic designer, illustrator, author, and printmaker,[3] who grew up[4] and studied graphic design[5] in Yorkshire, England. He was a part of a designing team at Bloomsbury Publishing between 2000 to 2003, and was credited as the designer for the hardback cover of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.[6]

Horne was also in charge of designing and illustrating the covers of the original editions of Quidditch Through the Ages and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.[6] His original designs for those books have been used in several translated editions around the world, such as French, Spanish, Chinese, Turkish, Polish and Croatian, among others.

After leaving Bloomsbury, Horne illustrated and authored 101 Things To Do, with more books to follow.[7]
