Richard I (8 September 11576 April 1199) was a Muggle who reigned as King of England from 1189 until his death.[1]

Gregory the Smarmy allegedly made his fortune by worming his way into King Richard's confidence.[2]

The name "Richard" means "brave power", derived from the Germanic elements ric "power, rule" and hard "brave, hardy".
