Richard Leaf is a British actor who portrayed John Dawlish in the film adaptation of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.

Born in 1967 in Great Britain, he is married to Tamsin Greig with whom he has had three children. In addition to Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, he has appeared in numerous film and television rolls including Hannibal Rising, The Seawatchers and The Fifth Element. John Noe is an outspoken fan of him and his character.
