Rivington Street was a street located in Manhattan, New York.[1]
History[]
Jacob Kowalski was living in an upstairs apartment at 435 Rivington Street in late 1926.[2] In early 1927, he opened his bakery, Kowalski Quality Baked Goods, at 443 Rivington Street.[3][4][5] Janer & Pelowski Co., M. Voltolini & Co., and Alonzo Zema Paper & Twine were also located on this street.[5] In the 1930s, Albus Dumbledore walked on this street on a visit to New York.[6]
