This road was a bifurcation leading off the road to Hogwarts. It led through the Forbidden Forest and numerous fields in the mountains surrounding Hogwarts Castle before ending at Hogsmeade Village, where it became the High Street.[1] The road connected to Hogwarts Castle via the Training Grounds. The area was also known for its abundance of lacewing flies.[2]
History[]
On 2 September 1890, a student and their friend (either Sebastian Sallow or Natsai Onai) travelled this road while going to Hogsmeade shortly before the troll attack later that day. They met an inebriated Gladwin Moon on the way there.[2]
