It was served at the Welcoming Feast of 1991.[1]
It is also sometimes served as part of regular meals at Hogwarts. In March 1995, following a Care of Magical Creatures lesson on nifflers, Harry Potter, Ronald Weasley and Hermione Granger had roast beef and Yorkshire pudding as part of their lunch.[2]
