This rogue alchemist was a wizard who wore a purple cloak with a goatee, that operated in Great Britain during the late 20th century.[1]
Biography[]
At one point, he began scamming other wizards by alleging to be an alchemist that had cracked the code of panacea; a remedy that was supposed to cure any ailment. Rather than doing what it was supposed to, however, all his fake panacea did was give several patients boils.[1]
He was tracked down by Alastor Moody, Jacob's sibling and Nymphadora Tonks during the 1990–1991 school year.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
- An unidentified mallowsweet seller matches the description that Moody gave of the rogue alchemist, suggesting the two may be the same person.
