Royal Mail is a British postal service and courier company, which provides postal services throughout Great Britain.[1] The company owned distinctive red post boxes which were situated throughout the UK.[1][2]
History[]
In the 1980s/1990s, a Royal Mail red post box was situated in the Magical Creatures Reserve in Scotland, near Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, in which an owl was frequently sitting atop of it, bearing the Royal Mail's logo on the box.[2]
In the 1990–1991 school year, Professor Arif Sikander used a royal mail box in a seventh-year Muggle Studies lesson at Hogwarts.[3]
