The Royal Star Steam Co. (officially, the Royal Star Navigation Company, Limited, of Great Britain) was a British passenger ship company active in the 1920s.
Ostensibly a Muggle company, at least one of its vessels, SS Ondine, also accomodated a segregated "Wizard Class" of passengers.[1]
History[]
It operated HMS Temeresi, the ship from which Newton Scamander arrived in, and shortly afterwards left, New York in 1926.[2]
The Royal Star Steam Co. also operated SS Ondine, the ship that carried the Circus Arcanus crew from New York to Paris in late 1926, and with them Credence Barebone and Nagini.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
- This shipping company has a similar name to White Star Line (officially, the Oceanic Steam Navigation Company, Ltd.), one of the most prominent shipping lines in the world in the early 20th century — and today perhaps most famous for the loss of their best passenger liner, RMS Titanic, on her maiden voyage in 1912.
