This Porlock was one of the potential pets given to Rubeus Hagrid for his birthday.[1]
Biography[]
This Porlock was kept and raised by the British Ministry of Magic's Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures. On Hagrid's birthday, Albus Dumbledore contacted the department and asked if they could provide a pet for Hagrid. Amos Diggory arrived at Hogwarts with a three pets, and Jacob's sibling decided which one they thought Hagrid would like the most.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
- During the side quest, the player has the option to choose between one of three pets as gifts for Hagrid, the other two being a Murtlap and a Fire Crab.
