Ryotaro Tanaka was a Japanese wizard who was the Japanese National Quidditch team's captain during the four-hundred and twenty-second Quidditch World Cup, in 1994. He played as a Chaser and was the team's Captain.
During the 1996–1997 school year, Tanaka's Chocolate Frog Card could be won by beating Scott Ancrum at an Exploding Snap challenge.[2]
