Sabine Wilharm (born 1954) is a German illustrator who created the cover art for the original German edition of the Harry Potter books.[1]
She was later commissioned for the German Hogwarts Library books and the occasional special editions of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.
Her Harry Potter art work has been featured in the traveling exhibition Sabine Wilharm – Die Bilder zum Buch Harry Potter, Bartleby, Schinken & Ei und andere Illustrationen ("Sabine Wilharm - The pictures for the book Harry Potter, Bartleby, Ham & Egg and other illustrations") from 2001 to 2004, with the exhibit held at Ludwig Galerie Schloss Oberhausen notable for having compiled her art and published them as books.[2]
