The skeleton of a sabre-toothed tiger was on display in Hogwarts Castle during the 1890s.[2]
The Graphorn was described as being "built like" a sabre-toothed tiger.[3] When Molly Weasley was angry at her children, Harry Potter thought that "for a short, plump, kind-faced woman, it was remarkable how much she looked like a saber-toothed tiger."[4]
