The Salem memorial stood in the entrance of the Magical Congress of the United States of America, in the Woolworth Building in Manhattan. It was built as a monument paying homage to those persecuted and killed during the Salem Witch Trials.[1]
Description[]
It was comprised of a majestic Art Deco-influenced monument, flanked by four large golden statues of phoenixes, one on each corner. On the dais beneath the stone canopy, stood life-sized stone statues of the victims of the Salem Witch Trials - three women, one man and a child - holding hands in a circle.
