A scarecrow is generally a human figure dressed in old clothes, stuffed with straw and placed in fields by farmers to discourage birds from eating their crops.[4]
History[]
In 1890, an scarecrow that had been enchanted to ward off crows could be found in a wizarding garden in the Highlands, that over the years instead insulted gardeners while they worked.[1]
Rubeus Hagrid owned a scarecrow that dragon-like, with ragged wings and garden implements for hands, which he kept in his garden.[2]
Behind the scenes[]
- In LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4, during the Time-Turner level when Hagrid looks outside his window, Harry is dressed like a scarecrow to disguise himself.[5]
- In both LEGO Harry Potter games, the scarecrows use the same head as The Scarecrow from LEGO Batman: The Videogame.
