Sea lavender is a plant native to coastal areas.[2] The plant grew near Shell Cottage in Tinworth.[1]
Uses[]
When Dobby the house-elf died in March 1998 at Shell Cottage, Luna Lovegood used some sea lavender to decorate his grave.[1][3]
Etymology[]
The name comes from its similarity in appearance to lavender, though the plants are not related.
