There was a secret study hidden beneath Greenhouse One, in the grounds of Hogwarts Castle, Scotland.[1]
Description[]
It was located in a cave, with a small stream passing through it. Its only furnishing was a table with a book on it and a chair, along with a candlestick, to provide light. It could be accessed from a concealed trapdoor in the greenhouse above, concealed beneath a flowerbed with a single tree.[1]
History[]
In the 1991–1992 school year, this study was infested with gnomes and Harry Potter stunned them with the Knockback Jinx. For doing that, he was rewarded with a Chocolate Frog Card of Newt Scamander.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
- It is possible that this room actually is the office of one of the Herbology professors working under Professor Sprout, the Head of Department, or that of Sprout herself.
- This study appears in the non-canonical Incendio Challenge in the PC version of the first video game.
