Selina Moore was a witch and Slytherin student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in the 1990s.[3]

Etymology

Selina is the English spelling "Celine," a short form of the French name Marcelline, which ultimately descends from the Roman name Marcus.

Selina can also be a Latinized English variant of "Selene," a Greek name that means "moon" and the name given to the Titaness who represented the Moon.
