The wand of Severus Snape is of an unknown wood, core material, and length.

History

This wand was presumably bought by Severus Snape at age eleven, probably from Ollivander's Wand Shop.

During his student years, he became a very skilful wizard, managing to create several spells of his own invention (such as Sectumsempra).

As a Hogwarts professor, he participated as Gilderoy Lockhart's "helper" in his Duelling Club in 1992 disarming him in front of several students and disintegrating a snake cast at Harry Potter by Draco Malfoy. In 1994, Sirius Black took this wand after Harry, Ron, and Hermione disarmed Snape in the Shrieking Shack. He then used it to reveal Scabbers as Peter Pettigrew.

It is unknown what happened to the wand after Severus's death, although it is possible it was buried along with Snape's body (just as the Elder Wand was buried with Albus Dumbledore).
