Shane Golding was a wizard and the husband of Glenna Golding.

Biography

Shane was a troublemaker, he was once brought into the British Ministry of Magic under suspicion of performing magic at Piccadilly Circus. There he met Glenna Merriweather, a worker of the Department of Magical Accidents and Catastrophes. After a sternly worded rebuke and a lovely first date at the Leaky Cauldron, they got together and eventually married.

Shane and Glenna relocated in Hogsmeade permanently as it was always a favourite for her. They had a son, Nyle Golding, who was born a Squib. Shane and Glenna were in Hogsmeade during the Battle of Hogwarts and did what they could, but it was hard for them to help with a horde of Dementors between them and the castle.

After his death, his portrait was hung in the living room of his house. His portrait would often travel away, causing Glenna to complain that his portrait travelled more than they ever did.
