Siberia is a region in north Asia controlled by the Russian state.[1]
History[]
The 1809 Quidditch World Cup was held on the West Siberian Plain, during which the Attack of the Killer Forest also occured.[2]
Gilderoy Lockhart was inducted as a member of the Order of Air Voyagers for Intrepid Wizards as he reached Ouagadougou, supposedly the farthest most point in Siberia.[3]
Behind the scenes[]
- Ougadougou is in fact an African city in Burkina Faso, which is likely evidence that the document certifying Lockhart's induction as a member of this group was a forgery, as Siberia is a north Asian region controlled almost entirely by Russia.
