"Are you a wizard, or what?"
The title of this article is conjectural. Although it is based on canonical information, the actual name is a conjecture and may be supplanted at any time by additional information released from canonical sources. If this occurs, please move this page to the appropriate title. |
The wand of Silvanus Kettleburn was eleven and a half inches long, made of chestnut with a phoenix feather core. The wand was described as being "whippy".
Behind the scenes
- Chestnut wands are said to be suited to, among other things, wizards and witches skilled at dealing with magical creatures.[1] Kettleburn was the Care of Magical Creatures Professor at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry for a number of years, showing this wand suited him very well to his skills.
- Like most wands owned in Great Britain, this wand was most likely manufactured by the Wandmaker Garrick Ollivander and purchased from his wand shop Ollivanders, in Diagon Alley, London.[2]
Appearances
- Pottermore (Mentioned only)

- ↑ The wand uses one of the three Supreme Cores, rather than the various magical substances popular prior to Garrick Ollivander's discoveries.
