Singing Hot Pot is a magical soup dish used in the celebration of Chinese New Year.[1]
History[]
When Robyn Thistlethwaite was young, her family celebrated Chinese New Year. After Robyn began attending Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, her mother wanted her to celebrate the festival as usual and sent her a recipe for Singing Hot Pot so she could cook and enjoy it with her friends.[1]
Believing that the food served at Hogwarts wasn't to her daughter's liking, Robyn's mother sent pots and condiments used to make Singing Hot Pot to Hogwarts so that the Hogwarts house-elves could prepare the dish for her.[2]
