This barn owl was owned by Sirius Black. He used it to deliver a letter to his godson Harry Potter.[1]
History[]
Harry found the owl in his dormitory after being informed by his best friend Ron (whom both had temporarily fallen out at the time) that it was there.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
In the film adaptation of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, there is a different owl which delivered Sirius' letter to Harry, which also had a tendency to bite people. The owl in the book did not bite Harry.
