Sites of Historical Sorcery is a book which educates tourists or visitors of local historical sites concerning the wizarding world. It indicated that an inn in Hogsmeade was the headquarters for the Goblin Rebellion of 1612, though it did not specify whether this was the Three Broomsticks Inn or the Hog's Head Inn.[2]

In 1986, Rowan Khanna mentioned reading about Hogsmeade in the book.[1]
In 1993, Hermione Granger mentioned the contents of this book when speaking to Ronald Weasley and Harry Potter about Hogsmeade.[2]
