- Bly: "Not another move, unless you want the girl to meet the same fate as her father."
- Daniel Page: "Professor Gorski gave you up, the Ministry is on its way."
- Bly: "Are they boy? The curse I put on Gorski means that he can't even speak my name. Nobody is coming to save you."
- — Bly facing Daniel Page before the duel[src]
This skirmish was a confrontation between the Dark wizard Bly and a group of Hogwarts students.[1]
History[]
Background[]
Bly was a powerful Dark wizard in search of the Turner family heirloom for years. He murdered Lottie Turner's father but still didn't find the artefact. He put the Imperius Curse on Professor Jakub Gorski and followed him as his "assistant" to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in the 2009–2010 school year, disguised as his Animagus form, a lemur. There, he made Gorski give students an assignment of searching for a mysterious artefact. When a group of students, including Lottie herself, were close to finding it, he showed up in his human form and made his final move.[1]
The skirmish[]
Bly dragged Lottie Turner through a mirror into a room which held the heirloom and forced her to open its container. Then, Daniel Page, Ivy Warrington and another student also came through the mirror and battled Bly alongside Lottie. At the end, Bly attempted to wield the heirloom, which he thought was a wand but was actually a brush, which led to his failure and the students overpowering him.[1]
Aftermath[]
It is unknown what happened to Bly afterwards. Professor Gorski was freed from the Imperius Curse, and offered Lottie a portrait of her father.[1]
