The sloth was a brown-haired, slow-moving mammal that hung upside down from the branches of trees using its long limbs and hooked claws.[2]
Description[]
The brain of a sloth was used in potions, in particular the mucus. It was used as an ingredient in the Draught of Living Death and Dragon dung fertiliser.[1]
The Demiguise resembled a cross between a sloth and an ape with large, black eyes and long, silky hair.[3]
The Sloth Grip Roll was the name given to a Quidditch tactic, in which the player would hang upside down from their broomstick gripping tightly with their hands (like a sloth) to avoid Bludgers.[4]
