These tapestries were hung on the rough stone walls of Slytherin Dungeon. They had been in place since the founding of the school and depicted the adventures of famous medieval Slytherins.[1][2] One such episode depicted on the tapestries was the slaying of a unicorn and the collection of its blood.[3]
